Tahira Of Los Angeles - Belly Dancer

From time to time I will have costumes for sale.  I will post them here until I either sell them or decide to keep them.  Check back often!

All of these items are in good shape. Many are simply things which I bought and have outgrown stylistically, or thought I would have time to fix and adjust, or were too small to begin with and I will never be able to get into them no matter how much I try.

Here are the first set of photo. More through out the day.

1) mini zils. These are from India, sand cast. Love them, but really, I use El Coyotes even in class, so as it is unlikely that I will have a little one to play these, they should be appreciated! $7 Set of 4 1.5"

2) Gold coin belt. This was an early purchase when my style was much more hippie-gypsy-esque. $25 36"


3) Dark Blue self made bedlah. Not made by me, but a great example of how Vintage Cab bedlahs were originally made. Dark Royal blue Lame with appliques. Big Wonder Woman Belt buckle center piece. I was going to change out the fringe, shrink the center piece and add some bling. I will get exact measurements, but I know that this is at least a DD and the belt is about 42. Let's put it this way: this is big on me, and I am a 34G and have 39" hips. $50 13" under cups, back is adjustable, cups are 7.5 (or 8) Horizontal, 9 Diagonal and 8 Vertical; belt is 44" including curve although set at about 39. WWBB is 8 x 6 and the back of the curve is 4"

4) Dark gold Self made bedlah. Also not made by me. I bought this for the leapord skirt which came with it. And on, that is not for sale! Old gold satin, two piece belt, bra is a C. There are only a few appliques in the costume and the fringe is not very dense. It would make a great base for an Ancient Relections style coin costume (hint, hint) $50

5) Blue and red bedlah. Bought this years ago from Adishakti. Royal blue velvet with multi coloured trim. Two layers of fringe, one red, one silver. This was also a self made. I would say that the bra is a C. The belt is 36". $50
